Focos will search for app updates every hour, when one is found, a red arrow in the bottom left settings cog will appear. As shown here:
To update the app, click the Settings cog button and look for the 'UPDATE APP' notification towards the top part of your screen. Then, click on the 'INSTALL' button and the app will automatically shut down itself. Lastly, re-launch the app and the update will be automatically installed.
To check the version of the Focos app on Mac:
Move your mouse at the top-left corner of your screen, click on 'Focos', then point your mouse on 'About Focos' to show the version of the app.
NOTE: FIREWALLS
If you have a firewall on then you will not see the app update red arrow icon, please turn-off your firewall momentarily and you should see the update icon appear in 5mins or so. Then follow the steps above and once the app has updated, you can turn your firewall back on.
